One of the more recently opened peaks for climbing, the Himlung Himal with an altitude of 7,126m has been successful in attracting newbies as well as seasoned climbers over the years.
Himlung Himal is situated in the Manaslu region and lies in the remote corner of Nepal along the Tibetan border. Routes are combined with soaring peaks and moves through glaciers secluded villages with diverse cultures, pleasing forests and Gompas.
Usually three high camps get established before reaching the Summit and the Base Camp is located at an altitude of a little more than 4,850m.
A trek that follows a stunning path is not considered technically difficult to summit.
Although this trail was affected by the earthquake, it still is a fantastic option for camping trek.
