Lumba Sumba Trek - 22 Days

Lumba Sumba Trek

Identified in 2012, Lumba Sumba Trek is one of the new trekking routes in Nepal.

This trail moves through the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA) and rewards us with some of the most spectacular Himalayan landscapes.

The trek starts in Suketar; passes through Olangchung Gola and the Kanchanjunga Conservation Area and the Makalu Barun National Park before reaching the Lumba Sumba Pass on the 8th day of the trek.

Famous for flora and fauna, this route rewards you with different birds and wildlife species and if you are lucky you might just see Snow Leopard and Red Panda along the trail.

Earthquake update:

This trail is relatively unscathed by the earthquake and is safe for trekking.
