Kanchenjunga is the third tallest mountain in the world.
Beginning your trek from the small airstrip at Suketar in Taplejung, you make your way through isolated and awe inspiring trails, past dense forests and cascading Himalayan rivers.
The magnificent mountain views of Kanchenjunga and surrounding mountains, traditional villages, Himalayan scenery and scarcity of other trekkers makes this trek an unforgettable experience.
This route is known for its remoteness and rich Tibetan culture. If you are one of those who hates crowded trails; this might just be the perfect choice!

The Kangchanjunga trek went well, we were lucky that the snow was not so bad there. Bire and Dhirendra did and excellent job.
We really had a very enjoyable, successful and exciting trip to Kanchenjunga north and south base camp. Gelbu, our guide, was very good and he also taught us some Nepali, Our cook and porters all did a fantastic job. Thank you to everyone at Expedition Himalaya for a great trek.
