This tour allows visitors to Nepal to explore the country’s rich cultural heritage as well as experience its great natural beauty through sightseeing excursions around the most significant sites in the Kathmandu Valley combined with time in the beautiful lakeside resort of Pokhara and wildlife viewing in Chitwan Royal National Park.

All visitors except the Indian nationals must hold a passport and valid visa in order to enter Nepal. Visas can be obtained at the Nepalese diplomatic missions and consulates abroad and also at entry points in Nepal. In order to obtain a visa at the airport or any of the land entry points, you are required to complete a visa form and provide a recent passport photograph and payment in cash.

The visa extension fee for 15 days or less is USD 30 or equivalent convertible currency

Tourist visas can be extended for a maximum period of 150 days in a single visa year (January to December)
Tourist visa is avalable on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
Before you head to the immigration counter, fill out the visa forms. Though there is a photo booth, we would advise you to carry passport photos to save time (and money). It will cost you US $ 30 (cash) for a thirty days visa.
Our staff will be waiting for you outside the international airport. Look out for someone carrying a sign with either “Expedition Himalaya” or your name written on it.

At the end of your trip, Expedition Himalaya will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
